    Basic Signature

    Start by making a new image 400 width by 140 height.

    Paste your render onto your signature, make it bigger to add depth.

    Smooth it out with the clone brush.

    Paste in render as the size you want it, merge it down.

    Cut out excess things, Smudge edges of render to blend.

    Clone brush randomly with a textured brush at 50% opacity, dont cover the render.

    Add lights and darks to the border with a round brush at 0% hardness using black and white. Try using brush size 300 and only use it outside of the image, it will add lights and darks on the inside.

    Paste render again on a new layer, but in same spot as you did before, set to 25% opacity.

    Add text and maybe a gradient at 30% opacity, BOOM youre done!

    and anyway, Dis I still don't like that way of doing it, I still think the render should stand out more, the way you've done it makes the render almost undistinguishable from the background..... AND YES I KNOW THAT'S A BIG WORD!!!

    yes
    i looked at a bunch of youtube vids
    i figured out that i need layers!
    so i was messing around with brushes


    downloaded ton of fonts
    and brushes and a couple of gradients
    used the burn,overlay etc dropdown bar

    and a lot of time!


    i also had a lot of trouble on pasting mario without a background



    oh and im a noob at gimp
    but i had photofiltre before
    and i had a photoshop trial

    Give me some renders you want me to make into a sig and ill do a tut for them. also include what type of sig, like use one of my sigs as an example of what style you want

    i could put that into a sig size then slap a color overlay on it and my name and it would be a sig.

    Provide me with some renders of only 1 thing without special effects surrounding it lol
